Our story

La Case Robinson, from the project to its achievement Eric DETRAZ is a travel fan. As his journeys progressed, he noticed that some accomodations did not take the ecological aspect, fauna and flora of a territory into consideration. After his entire life as a structure engineer and manager of his own company, he decided to go for it: opening an establishment on a human scale, both with comfort and respect of the environment in order to preserve the local authenticity to its maximum.

 Following several journeys in the Indian ocean, he stopped on Mayotte island. Immediate love at first sight: welcoming polulation, preserved nature and an extraordinay marine park. After exploring the island, Gouela beach was the ideal spot for his project. His knowledge and experience in construction have permitted to build an hotel in conformity with applicable regulations, preserving the site from heavy works in order to protect the local fauna and flora. 

 Valorisation of local resources, local profesional networking, preservation and heritage presentation, La Case Robinson is part of a durable and responsible ecotourism with the aim of offering a unique experience in harmony with the site and its spirit.
